Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the http://www.aureliaessentialoils.com website (the "Service") operated by Aurelia Essential Oils ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you do not have permission to access the Service.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Aromatherapy is not an official method of treatment and the information provided are some traditional uses of essential oils as they apply to aromatherapy application. The uses suggested here are from aromatherapy text and folklore, and are not intended to replace in any way remedies or cures for medical ailments. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. If you have allergies or sensitivities or any known condition which makes you suspect an allergic or other sensitivity reaction, caution indicates checking with your licensed physician.

Ordering

We reserve our right to refuse service for any legal reason. All prices for products and shipping costs are subject to change without notice. All amounts stated are in USD.

No Return or Refund Policy

Please note that we do not accept returns on essential oils and products containing essential oils. We are careful to insure that our essential oils and other products containing essential oils are as pure as possible and have not been exposed to high levels of heat or radiation of any kind. In order to keep this level of product integrity, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Obstructions

We admit no responsibility in the unfortunate event of merchandise damage when shipment is in route. All orders are processed and triple checked to ensure accuracy and completion. If a product should leak, break, stain, soil or arrive empty it is the customers sole responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. We can do nothing, as we have no control of the delivery process. We choose the greatest carriers to avoid such circumstance, but such events are unavoidable should they occur. As we ship out our parcels in perfect condition, the maintenance of its state is solely up to the carrier.

Restocking Fees

After an order has been placed, and has entered processing, Aurelia Essential Oils does reserve the right to charge a restocking fee up to 20% of the value of the goods, at our discretion. The most likely instance where this is applicable is where the customer requests a cancellation of the order for reasons beyond our control, but the goods have already been dispatched from the warehouse and Aurelia Essential Oils incurs costs physically returning packages from Los Angeles or Overseas depots back to our shipping origin. Another possible instance where we may charge restocking fees is where a customer cancels several processing orders all at the same time.

Product Descriptions

aureliaessentialoils.com attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Aurelia Essential Oils does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of aureliaessentialoils.com is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

declined orders

if your credit card was rejected, it was rejected by our payment gateway vendor. there could be a few reasons why. here are some tips

check that the card hasn't expired.
billing information must be correct. we verify name, address, and zip.
make sure you include the cvv2 "security code" printed on your credit card. for american express, it's usually a 4-digit code on the front. other cards usually have a 3-digit code printed on the back (see diagram below).

even if you have a card with "no spending limit," we think that some credit card banks start brand new accounts with a low "security limit" (for fraud protection). we've had customers attempt to purchase $1,000+ with a brand new, no-limit card, and get rejected.

the secure credit card gateway system might be busy at the moment. try again in a couple minutes. when their lines are busy, there's not much we can do to speed that up, but they do eventually clear up.

if none of this helps, the next step is to contact your bank to find out why your card is being declined. the system we use only tells us that the card has been declined but gives no reasons. your bank would be able to provide that information to you.

Pre-orders and region restricted items

If we have an item schedule to release and are accepting pre-orders, you will be able to purchase your item online. Region restricted items will be announced for sale upon release via our email newsletter.

Except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Aurelia Essential Oils intellectual property rights, Aurelia Essential Oils may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of California, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

Aurelia Essential Oils is not responsible for typographic errors.

Aurelia Essential Oils reserves the right to cancel any order you have placed if there was a typographical error on the Aurelia Essential Oils store concerning the pricing or availability of any item you ordered when you placed the order.

Aurelia Essential Oils reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at the Aurelia Essential Oils store at any time.

All sales at the Aurelia Essential Oils store are governed by California law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.

No Aurelia Essential Oils employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Aurelia Essential Oils store's policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.

We are constantly updating product and service offerings on the Service. We may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other web sites. The information found on the Service may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. Products or services may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable on the Service and we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information found on the Service.

We therefore reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Contests, Sweepstakes and Promotions

Any contests, sweepstakes or other promotions (collectively, "Promotions") made available through the Service may be governed by rules that are separate from these Terms & Conditions. If you participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules as well as our Privacy Policy. If the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms and Conditions, the Promotion rules will apply.

Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly basis.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Aurelia Essential Oils cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting Aurelia Essential Oils customer support team.

A valid payment method, including credit card or PayPal, is required to process the payment for your Subscription. You shall provide Aurelia Essential Oils with accurate and complete billing information including full name, address, state, zip code, telephone number, and a valid payment method information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize Aurelia Essential Oils to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.

Should automatic billing fail to occur for any reason, Aurelia Essential Oils will issue an electronic invoice indicating that you must proceed manually, within a certain deadline date, with the full payment corresponding to the billing period as indicated on the invoice.

Free Trial

Aurelia Essential Oils may, at its sole discretion, offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period of time ("Free Trial").

You may be required to enter your billing information in order to sign up for the Free Trial.

If you do enter your billing information when signing up for the Free Trial, you will not be charged by Aurelia Essential Oils until the Free Trial has expired. On the last day of the Free Trial period, unless you cancelled your Subscription, you will be automatically charged the applicable Subscription fees for the type of Subscription you have selected.

At any time and without notice, Aurelia Essential Oils reserves the right to (i) modify the terms and conditions of the Free Trial offer, or (ii) cancel such Free Trial offer.

Fee Changes

Aurelia Essential Oils, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.

Aurelia Essential Oils will provide you with a reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective.

Your continued use of the Service after the Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.

Refunds

Certain refund requests for Subscriptions may be considered by Aurelia Essential Oils on a case-by-case basis and granted in sole discretion of Aurelia Essential Oils.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 18, and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion.

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Aurelia Essential Oils and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
